1. Independent Implementation

This software, including the log analyzer, parser, converter, and USB preparation utility, is an independent implementation developed through the analysis of log files produced by refrigeration controllers, of the data structures contained in those files, and of the observed behaviour of the equipment.

That analysis was limited to files and data generated by the equipment itself, and was carried out solely to the extent necessary to understand the file formats, storage structures, and device behaviour required to achieve interoperability.

The manufacturer's own software was not disassembled, decompiled, or otherwise reverse engineered. No source code, proprietary libraries, compiled binaries, confidential documentation, or any other proprietary materials from the original software were used, copied, or incorporated into this project.

2. Independent Interpretation

This software is not an official implementation and may differ from the original software in the interpretation of recorded events.

The interpretation of log entries, event descriptions, fault classifications, calculated values, timestamps, and generated reports represents the developer's own implementation and should not be considered an official interpretation of the controller manufacturer.

Although every effort has been made to provide accurate and reliable results, inaccuracies, unsupported firmware revisions, unknown log entries, or interpretation errors may exist.

3. Intended Users and Required Competence

This service is intended for use by qualified refrigeration technicians, mechanics, electromechanics, HVAC/R engineers, and other professionals who possess the training, experience, and equipment required to diagnose and service transport refrigeration units.

All technical content — reports, alarm interpretations, hints, findings, calculated values, and converted data — is written on the assumption that it will be read and assessed by such a specialist: someone able to weigh it against the physical condition of the unit, the manufacturer's service documentation, and their own measurements.

The output of this service is not a substitute for professional training, for the manufacturer's service documentation, or for the diagnostic procedures prescribed by the manufacturer. It does not constitute instruction, training, or certification in the servicing of refrigeration equipment.

Users who do not possess the necessary qualifications should not act on the information produced by this service, and should instead consult a qualified technician or an authorized service partner.

4. Diagnostic Output is Advisory Only

All results produced by this service — alarm classifications, severity levels, incident and cascade grouping, suggested root causes, hints, findings, running hours, statistics, and any other calculated value — are advisory and are produced by automated heuristics. They are suggestions to be verified, not conclusions.

The meaning of a given alarm code depends on the unit model, controller type, firmware revision, and configuration. Where the output of this service conflicts with the manufacturer's official service documentation, the official documentation prevails.

The absence of a finding is not evidence of the absence of a fault. The analysis covers only what the controller recorded and what the user uploaded. In particular:

A unit with no findings in a report may nevertheless be faulty. Any decision to inspect, repair, replace a component, continue operation, or return a unit to service remains the sole professional judgement of the user.

5. Work on Equipment is Performed at the User's Own Risk

All inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, modification, and return-to-service work carried out on a refrigeration unit is performed entirely at the user's own risk and on the user's own responsibility.

Transport refrigeration units present hazards which the user is expected to recognise and control, including but not limited to:

The user is solely responsible for isolating and securing the unit before work, for the use of appropriate personal protective equipment, for compliance with applicable occupational safety, electrical, environmental, and refrigerant-handling regulations, and for ensuring that the work is carried out by personnel authorized to perform it.

Nothing in the output of this service may be interpreted as an instruction to bypass, disable, or override any safety device, interlock, alarm, or protective function of the equipment, or to perform any work without proper isolation.

The developer does not inspect the equipment, is not present during any work, and has no knowledge of the condition, configuration, modification history, or operating environment of any unit.

6. No Legal or Evidentiary Use

The reports, analyses, converted data, and any other information generated by this website or its software are provided solely for informational and diagnostic purposes. They are not prepared for evidentiary use, and no representation is made as to their admissibility, evidentiary weight, or suitability in any proceeding.

They must not be relied upon as legal evidence in judicial proceedings, arbitration, insurance claims, regulatory matters, or any other legal dispute.

The developer does not certify, authenticate, or attest to the results produced by this service, and is under no obligation to provide testimony, expert opinion, or written confirmation in respect of them.

If official verification, forensic analysis, or legally admissible documentation is required, users should obtain such services directly from the original equipment manufacturer or another authorized party capable of issuing an official written conclusion.

7. User Responsibility

Users upload files and other data entirely at their own risk.

By uploading any files or information, the user represents and warrants that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, authorizations, and approvals required to upload, share, transmit, process, and store such data using this service.

Users remain solely responsible for:

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the user agrees to indemnify and hold the developer harmless against any third-party claim arising from data uploaded by that user, including any claim concerning ownership of, confidentiality of, or the right to disclose that data.

8. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The service and all of its output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to any warranty of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or in connection with the use of, or the inability to use, this service. This includes, but is not limited to: incorrect, incomplete, or missed diagnosis; repairs performed unnecessarily or not performed at all; replacement of serviceable components; cargo damage or spoilage; loss of load, downtime, delay, or loss of profit; damage to equipment or property; personal injury; loss or corruption of data; and any consequence of a decision taken on the basis of the output of this service.

This applies regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, and regardless of whether the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Availability of the Service

The service is provided without any guarantee of availability, continuity, or preservation of data. It may be modified, suspended, interrupted, or discontinued at any time, in whole or in part, with or without notice.

Uploaded files, processed data, accounts, and generated reports may become unavailable or be deleted, whether as a result of a technical fault, of maintenance, or of a decision to discontinue the service. Users are responsible for retaining their own copies of the original log files and of any report they wish to keep.

10. Data Security

Although the service is designed with security in mind and reasonable efforts are made to protect stored data, no online system can be considered completely secure.

The website is committed to making every reasonable effort to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, disclosure, alteration, or other forms of compromise. User data will not be intentionally disclosed, distributed, sold, or otherwise shared with third parties without the user's prior consent, except where required by applicable law or where necessary for the operation, maintenance, or protection of the service.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

A user may delete any log they have uploaded, at any time, from their own account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it removes the stored original file, any working copy created during conversion, every record and event parsed from that file, and the corresponding unit entry once no other log refers to it.

Original uploaded files may in addition be removed automatically in accordance with a retention policy configured for the service. Data already parsed from a file remains available in the user's account until the user deletes the log itself.

A user who wishes their account to be deleted may request this through the contact form while signed in. The account, all logs uploaded under it, the stored files belonging to it, and the contact requests submitted from it are then deleted.

Contact requests submitted without an account are retained for a limited period (three years by default) and then deleted automatically.

After deletion, residual copies may remain in routine system backups until those backups are overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle. Aggregated and anonymized statistics already derived in accordance with Section 12 (Service Improvement), which no longer identify the user, the account, or the uploaded file, are not affected by deletion.

12. Service Improvement

The developer reserves the right to use uploaded log files and related technical information to improve, validate, test, and enhance the functionality, compatibility, reliability, parser, converter, USB preparation utility, and log analysis algorithms.

This includes the derivation of aggregated and anonymized statistics, provided that such statistics do not identify the user, the unit, or the operator of the equipment.

Such processing may occur without prior notice to the user, is carried out in accordance with the principles described in Section 10 (Data Security), and does not extend the retention of the user's files beyond the terms of Section 11 (Data Retention and Deletion).

13. Jurisdiction

The service is offered worldwide and is not directed at the residents of, or at any market in, any particular country.

Users acknowledge that the privacy, data protection, consumer, and other legal obligations applicable to their use of the service may depend on their own jurisdiction and on the circumstances under which they use it.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any legal rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. No Affiliation

This project is an independent software implementation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the manufacturer of any supported refrigeration controller or associated software.

15. Trademarks and Compatibility

Any product names, controller model numbers, firmware identifiers, or other references appearing on this website are used solely for compatibility and identification purposes.

All trademarks, registered trademarks, trade names, and other intellectual property rights remain the property of their respective owners.

The absence of a manufacturer's name, product name, trademark, logo, or branding should not be interpreted as any claim of ownership or affiliation.

16. Changes to this Disclaimer

This Disclaimer may be amended at any time. The version in force is the one published on this website, identified by the version number and the date of last change shown above.

Where the Disclaimer is amended, the amended text is presented to the user at their next sign-in. Continued use of the service after that point constitutes acceptance of the amended Disclaimer, and no separate confirmation is required. The service records which version of this Disclaimer was in force for an account and when that version was presented.

A user who does not accept an amended Disclaimer must stop using the service, and may delete their data and request deletion of their account as described in Section 11 (Data Retention and Deletion).
